The short version:
Our little girl was born at home in 5 hours of labor and three pushes and no tearing.  Labor was intense but enjoyable.  Each contraction started out painful and ended feeling delicious.  She is perfect and healthy.  I had to be transferred to the hospital ( Read more... )

Stella Ray has finally arrived. She was born at home, naturally and into the water. Active labor lasted 7 hours and I pushed for about an hour.

I see so many stories about women being told they are "too small" to birth naturally or their pelvis is "too small." For you, or anyone else who has been given crap about the decision to birth naturally, I give you Allison's Birth.
